Accordingly, the activities of its members are focused on the lifelong learning of educational professionals\u2014particularly teachers, school teachers, preschool educators, and other employees within the education and science system. To this end, they collaborate with numerous institutions in the Republic of Croatia and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the Sub-Department regularly engage in professional development by actively participating in prestigious national and international conferences (China, Japan, the United Kingdom, Hungary, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Serbia), study visits (Finland, the United Kingdom), and summer schools (the United Kingdom, Poland).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation of members in recent projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2025\u20132029<\/strong> \u2013 <em>KUL-PRO \u2013 Enhancing the Culture and Quality of the Education System in the Context of Professional Development of Preschool and Primary School Teachers.<\/em> The project is led by the Faculty of Education and funded by the European Union \u2013 NextGenerationEU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2024\u20132027<\/strong> \u2013 <em>COLOURS \u2013 COLlaborative innOvative sUstainable Regional UniverSities.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2023<\/strong> \u2013 <em>SKoKom to Media Literacy.<\/em> The project is led by the Faculty of Education and funded by the Agency for Electronic Media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2022\u20132025<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Ivan Filipovi\u0107 \u2013 Organizer of Croatian Teaching Profession and Reformer of Croatian Schooling.<\/em> The project is led by the Faculty of Education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2020\u20132022<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Affirmation of Futurology and Futurological Methods in Research of Future Teachers and Preschool Educators.<\/em> The project is led by the Faculty of Education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2020\u20132021<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Enhancing the Inclusiveness of Initial Education of Early and Preschool Educators.<\/em> Commissioned by the UNICEF Office for Croatia, led by the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb, with the Faculty of Education in Osijek as a project partner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2019\u20132022<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Competence Standards for Teachers, Pedagogues and Mentors (UP.03.1.1.03.0056).<\/em> Co-financed by the European Social Fund and implemented by the University of Zadar in partnership with the Faculty of Education in Osijek, Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, Split, Rijeka, and Zagreb, the Faculty of Science in Zagreb, and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2018\u20132021<\/strong> \u2013 <em>International Study Programme \u201cResilient Structures \u2013 InterStruct\u201d.<\/em> Led by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Osijek, with the Faculty of Education as a project partner. She holds a doctorate degree from the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Ljubljana, in interdisciplinary scientific fields: the scientific field of natural sciences, the field of biology, the scientific field of social sciences, the field of pedagogy. She also trained to conduct external audits of higher education institutions. She completed training in Zagreb to become a child expert, which consisted of four modules: Emotional development and support, Children with special needs, Therapeutic play and Cooperation with parents (2016-2017) and the Greenway winter school education at the University of P\u00e9cs.<br \/>She has cooperated with the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Maribor, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Trnava, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Tuzla, the University of Novi Sad, the J\u00f6zsef E\u00f6tv\u00f6s University in Baja, etc. for many years.<br \/>She was an invited visiting professor as part of the project (INOVUP) \"Involvement of visiting foreign experts and university teachers in the pedagogical process as a pillar of the quality development process of internationalization of the University of Maribor\".<br \/>She was the leader or collaborator of several scientific research projects: Biological research of the Kopa\u010dki rit Special Zoological Reserve; Water protection of the Kopa\u010dki rit Reserve; Teaching focused on research and action; Encouraging environmental education of young people in Eastern Slavonia; Competencies in teaching Science and Biology; Orientation of Science teaching to student achievement levels. She was the head of the Slovenian and Croatian bilateral project Cultural heritage in the primary education of Slovenia and Croatia, as well as the NATURAVITA project for the creation of educational programs and manuals for education in nature.<br \/>She is the president and head of the postgraduate university doctoral study program Educational Sciences and Perspectives of Education at FOOZOS. She is the deputy president of the postgraduate university specialist study program Sustainable and Circular Bioeconomy.<br \/>She is the editor-in-chief of the journal Life and School, which publishes scientific and professional papers with the aim of improving the theory and practice of education. She is the president of the examination committees for taking professional exams in Nature and Society for Teachers. She studied pedagogy and Croatian language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and she graduated in 2007. In 2015, she received her PhD in the scientific field of Social sciences, Pedagogy, from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb defending the dissertation <i>Socio-Pedagogical Competences of Teachers in the Contemporary School Culture Curriculum<\/i>. From September 2007 to October 2008 she worked as a pedagogue in the elementary school Josipovac. Since November 2008, she has worked as a Teaching Assistant, from July 2018 as a Senior Assistant at the Faculty of Education, from 2017 as an Assistant Professor, and from February 2023 until today as an associate professor at the Department of Pedagogy, History and Philosophy at the Faculty of Education in Osijek. From October 2018 to 2022, she held the position of head of the Department for Pedagogy, History, and Philosophy, as well as the Center for Career Development of Students. From 2022 until today, she holds the position of vice dean for science. She has participated in more than 50 national and international scientific and vocational conferences. Prof., was born in 1984 in Osijek (Croatia). She got her Ph.D. in 2013 at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb (Croatia) with the topic \"<em>Correlation between the Curriculum of Teacher Education and Student Creativity Development<\/em>.\u201d In 2015 she was elected as Assistant Professor. She started working at the Faculty of Education in Osijek at December 1st 2008. At this Faculty, she participates in the teaching of several pedagogical-didactic and methodological courses. She published a <a title=\"university textbook\" href=\"http:\/\/bib.irb.hr\/prikazi-rad?&amp;rad=859972\">university textbook<\/a>, <a title=\"two scientific monographs\" href=\"http:\/\/bib.irb.hr\/prikazi-rad?&amp;rad=806781\">two scientific monographs<\/a> and numerous scientific papers. She spoke at numerous international scientific and professional conferences in Croatia and abroad (Japan, United Arab Emirates, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">In 2017, during a study trip to the United Kingdom, she visited elementary and pre-school institutions. Within the CEEPUS program, of the academic year 2018\/2019, she was a visiting professor for two weeks at the Faculty of Philosophy in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), where she taught Didactics to students of pedagogy, psychology, classroom teaching and pre-school education.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">Between 2009 and 2014 she was actively involved in the scientific project <em>\"Development of Creativity in the Life-long Learning of Teachers\"<\/em> (245-1221170-1063). In 2018, at the Faculty of Education and in co-operation with the Agency for Education, she organized an education class themed \"Playtime in Teaching\". She is a member of the working group for analyzing and preparing curricula on the topic of children\u00b4s well-being within the two-year project <em>\"Subjective child well-being in Croatia\" <\/em>(2018-2020) of the Study Center of Social Work (University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law, leader: Marina Ajdukovi\u0107, Ph.D., Full Professor with Tenure), in cooperation with UNICEF Office for Croatia, Children\u00b4s World: The International Survey of Children\u00b4s Well-Being (ISCWeB). She was a teaching assistant for philology an pedagogy at the Department of Cultural Studies of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek (2013 \u2013 2018). Since 2018, she has been a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Education. The areas of her scientific and professional interest are pedagogical axiology and the history of Croatian literature, and in a broader sense, pedagogy and literature. In 2009 she graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek with a BA degree in Croatian language and literature and Pedagogy and in 2011 she became the Master of Education in Croatian Language and Literature and Master of Pedagogy at the same Faculty. In 2018, she completed the Post-graduate Interdisciplinary Doctoral Study Programme in Culture (Faculty of Arts and Literature in Culture) and earned a Ph. D. from the Doctoral School of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek (interdisciplinary field of science, i.e. interdisciplinary humanities and interdisciplinary social sciences).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">She has edited several conference proceedings and books, published several scientific papers in Croatian and foreign journals, and participated in several conferences in Croatia and abroad. So far, she has published three books. She is a member of the editorial board of the magazine \"Vospitanie - Journal of Educational Sciences, Theory and Practice\" (Republic of Northern Macedonia) and the magazine \"Pannoniana\" (Faculty of Educational Sciences, Osijek, Croatia).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the period from 2009 to 2010, she worked as a student in the library of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek. In 2021, she received a PhD from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek with the topic \u201cPreschool teachers, primary school teachers and university instructors' perceptions on organizational culture in educational institutions as the first in the generation.\u201d Since 2012, she has organized early English language programs for preschool children. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as a pedagogue at the Elementary School \"Tin Ujevi\u0107\" in Osijek and passed the professional exam to be an expert associate pedagogue. Since 2015, she has been teaching courses in the field of pedagogy (Pedagogy, General Pedagogy, Family Upbringing and Partnership with Parents, Parenting, and Final Paper Methodology) at the Faculty of Education in Osijek. In 2016, she received a UNESCO scholarship and participated in the 10th International Summer School - \u201cThe contemporary problems of children and childhood in multicultural societies\u201d - theory, research, praxis in Warsaw, Poland. In 2023, she was invited to the St. Gallen University of Teacher Education in Switzerland for professional development.
