Sub-Department of Mathematics was established by a decision of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Education on September 21, 2020. Until that date, it had been part of the Sub-Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, which had existed under that name since September 15, 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sub-Department of Mathematics brings together experts in mathematical sciences who teach courses in mathematics and computer science within study programs and lifelong learning programs at the Faculty of Education in Osijek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the Sub-Department are authors of numerous papers published in internationally peer-reviewed journals, as well as a range of professional publications. They participate in scientific and professional conferences and are actively involved in the popularization of science through events such as the Science Festival, Brain Awareness Week, and the Geometry School Stanko Bilinski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the Sub-Department have also been actively involved in organizing the international scientific colloquium Mathematics and Children<\/em> since its inception in 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sub-Department has five members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
