In addition to participating in artistic, scientific, and professional conferences, they are involved in various projects focused on artistic work. They also regularly take part in activities that contribute to the popularization of art and science (exhibitions, theatre performances, promotions, book presentations, Science Festival).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, the organization of <strong>the International Online Art Exhibition of Teacher Education and Pedagogical Faculty Teachers, AEXPO,<\/strong> began. The aim of this exhibition is to bring together university teachers from teacher education and pedagogical faculties in Croatia and abroad who teach in early and preschool education and primary education programs (education of children up to 11 years of age), and who, in addition to their direct pedagogical work, also have their own artistic production. The exhibition provides teachers with an opportunity and encouragement to present their artistic practice, as well as to support their personal artistic development, which directly influences their pedagogical work. Although they are primarily dedicated to teaching, personal artistic work remains in focus, which this exhibition emphasizes. The exhibition also aims to encourage the presentation of individual work, strengthen professional and collegial connections, and foster future collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an extension of this exhibition, since 2023 <strong>the AEXPO futura exhibition<\/strong> has been organized\u2014<strong>an international online art exhibition for students of teacher education and pedagogical faculties<\/strong>. Its aim is to gather and present artworks created by students enrolled in early and preschool education and primary education programs (education of children up to 11 years of age). Unlike their peers at art academies, whose education is primarily focused on art, students in these programs are trained in a broad range of knowledge across various scientific fields (social sciences, humanities, natural sciences), as well as the arts. Their artistic works, created both within coursework and in their private sphere, represent a valuable record of a particular time and of artistic processes as acts of creation and personal development. This student exhibition enables all students to present their work, while also strengthening professional connections and encouraging further collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a significant artistic activity in the field of drama, it is important to highlight the <strong>monodrama <em>Blessing<\/em> <\/strong>by Full Professor of Art (tenured) Mira Peri\u0107, which premiered on April 18, 2024. Professor Mira Peri\u0107 wrote and directed the monodrama, and designed its costume, scenography, and choreography, while also performing the role of Melita Mesi. The main character is the journalist Melita Mesi, whose research into the life of Ivana Brli\u0107-Ma\u017eurani\u0107 intertwines different female perspectives. The story is set in the present and interweaves the worlds of Ivana, Melita\u2019s mother, and her daughter. The monodrama <em>Blessing<\/em> has been discussed by <a href=\"https:\/\/sib.net.hr\/kultura\/1214143\/monodrama-mire-peric-blagoslov-pokusava-spoznati-svrhu-i-smisao-postojanja\/\"> Alen Biskupovi\u0107<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foozos.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/SG-103.pdf\">Antonija Huljev<\/a>. In 2014, he earned a PhD in Arts from the postgraduate doctoral study program in painting at the same academy. Before starting his work at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, he was employed as a visual arts teacher in primary school, as well as a teacher of professional subjects at the Secondary School of Applied Arts and Design. He is currently employed at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences as a full professor. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Croatia and abroad. She is the author of a handbook Drama plays for preschool kids (2009), two poetry collections Cross-fade of theatre beauty (2009) and Ego Twilight (2012), four dramas in a book Women in Parts (2012), dramatization of Nazor's White deer (2012), monodrama Lioness's Revenge (2011), Reaching acting maturity(2018.).She is the head of Arts Department. In 2021 she specialized in art therapy through the Postgraduate Specialist Study of Creative Therapies at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine. She is an associate professor at the Faculty of Education in Osijek. In 2015, he obtained his PhD at the Postgraduate Painting Program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb with the thesis \"Dream \u2013 Painting the Dream through Direct Observation.\"<\/span><\/span><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Since 2001, he has been continuously involved in teaching, first as a teacher of specialized art subjects at the Technical School in Vinkovci, then as a teacher of Graphic Design and Drawing and Painting at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Osijek, where he also worked as a mentor on numerous student projects and as the head of the Art Education Commission, a long-term member of the State Art Competition Commission (LIK). In 2012, he was promoted to the title of mentor professor.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Since 2015, he has been employed at the Faculty of Education, where he teaches courses in Visual Arts, Visual Arts in Integrated Curriculum,<span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"> Visual Art Techniques and Plastic Arts<\/span>,<\/span> Visual Communication and Design, Protection and Communication of Art Heritage in Kindergarten, and Children's Art and the Community. In 2023, he was promoted to the title of Associate Professor.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">He is a mentor on numerous student workshops, exhibitions, and projects such as AEXPO (International Exhibition of Art Works by Faculty of Education Instructors) and AEXPO futura (International Exhibition of Art Works by Faculty of Education Students). He is the author of the university textbook \u201c<i>Visual arts and fine arts techniques<\/i>\u201d(2019). He has also worked as a graphic editor for numerous print and online publications for the Faculty of Education.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">He has held twenty-four solo exhibitions and participated in more than forty group exhibitions both in Croatia and abroad. In his artistic work, he explores the oneiric spaces of dreams and the human body as symbols of specific psychological states. In 2017, she graduated in sculpture under the mentorship of Full Professor Nikola Vu\u010dkovi\u0107 at the Academy of Fine Arts, \u0160iroki Brijeg, University of Mostar, earning the title of master of sculpture and art education teacher.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p align=\"left\"><p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">From graduation until 2024, she intermittently worked at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Osijek, substituting in professional subjects, including drawing and painting, as well as sculptural and set design. Under her mentorship, fourteen students successfully completed their secondary education.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p align=\"left\"><p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">She is the author of three permanently installed public sculptures (located in \u0160iroki Brijeg, Vienna, and Posu\u0161je), has held six solo exhibitions, participated in numerous group exhibitions, and led art workshops. Notably, she has had a longstanding collaboration with the Community Service Center \"St. Ana\" in Vinkovci.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p align=\"left\"><p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Since 2016, she has been a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists in Zagreb. In 2022, she assumed the role of president of the association SKICA, through which she promotes the visibility of women artists by organizing projects such as the juried exhibition ONE SU TU (They Are Here).<\/span><\/span><\/p><p align=\"left\"><p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">In 2024, she began working as an Assistant at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
