• Create a stimulating research environment that will work for the benefit of scientists and professionals nationally and internationally.
  • Connect scientists and experts dealing with intangible cultural heritage through research and projects, but also all forms of popularization.
  • Involve students of the Faculty of Education at all levels from undergraduate to postgraduate in the work of the Centre, at all levels from research to popularization activities.
  • Involve holders of intangible heritage in all scientific, professional and popularization activities.
  • Include the topic of intangible heritage in various forms of non-formal and formal education through work in various professional and scientific committees at the Ministry of Science and Education, the purpose of which is to develop subject curricula in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens.
  • Raise the awareness of the local population about the values and importance of intangible cultural heritage and their role in the preservation, transmission and scientific use of this heritage.
  • Incorporate intangible heritage into existing projects related to cultural heritage and tourism at local, regional and national levels.
  • Involve local government and self-government units in the active implementation of scientific and professional activities of the Centre.
