On May 14, 2026, Science Day was held at the Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences.

The leaders of nine projects presented their scientific research projects, their objectives, the results achieved so far, and plans for further development and collaboration.

Particular attention from the participants was drawn to the presentation on the international AECED project within the Horizon Europe programme, delivered by Monika Pažur, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb, as well as to the experiences of managing and implementing Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ) projects presented by Lidija Cvikić (“Research Project as an Opportunity for Professional Development: Experience from the RAPID Project”) and Katarina Aladrović Slovaček (“Scientific and Other Benefits of a Croatian Science Foundation Project – Presentation of the Goals and Results of the RjeŠko Project”), also from the Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb. Project leader Anđelko Vlašić, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, presented his project through a lecture entitled “Experience in Managing an HRZZ Project with a Historical Theme”.

Alongside the guest lecturers, participants were also introduced to the current scientific research projects of the Faculty of Education by the project leaders: Associate Professor Maja Brust Nemet (KUL-PRO), Assistant Professor Pavao Nujić (ZABAS), Full Professor Irella Bogut (project collaborator on SINTEZA), Associate Professor Ivana Marinić (JEKOS), and Assistant Professor Daria Župan Tadijanov (INKOMET).

The projects are funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
